DR. TIM SILVESTRI, PHD · LICENSED PSYCHOLOGIST
Progress-based therapy with a psychologist of 30 years who keeps his practice small on purpose. Every session builds on the last, using the Thriving Based Approach: applied neurophysiology, performance psychology and real clinical depth.
Fewer than 20 sessions a week, so I show up prepared for yours
A clear next step every session, not a meandering conversation
For high achievers, athletes, performers and anyone ready to change
BEFORE YOU CHOOSE A THERAPIST
Research shows work quality drops once a therapist passes 20 to 25 sessions a week. I stay under 20.
Every session has a defined next progression, and you get honest feedback when something needs to change.
"Your first life was the practice round. Your second life starts now."
Decisions, pressure and burnout
Performance, comebacks and identity
Dancers, singers, writers
Leading a family through hard seasons
The first-year transition and beyond
Anyone ready to stop just surviving
I'm Dr. Tim Silvestri, creator of the Thriving Based Approach. Just about all psychological and therapeutic theories were created prior to the major advances in neuroscience and applied neurophysiology that has occurred in the past 10 to 15 years. The Thriving Based Approach connects the dots between Applied neurophysiology, performance psychology, and philosophy/logic to prioritize the essential points of knowledge and build the personal systems that will drive your healing, change, and success.
I've worked with entrepreneurs, athletes, dancers, singers, writers, and people of impact. Their journeys and systems are highly personalized, but their wisdom, foundations, and core anchors are all the same.

Mental Performance:
Clear thinking, sharp focus, and calm under pressure
Physical Vitality:
Energy, strength, and resilience that supports everything you do
Emotional Regulation:
Stable, confident, and in control of your responses
Behavioral Consistency:
Your best choices become automatic, not forced
Your best self isn't about perfection - it's about operating from a higher baseline. When your neurology is optimized, peak performance feels natural, not exhausting.
Assessment: Identify the personal patterns limiting your performance and the missing mindsets whose absence is holding you back. It's what's missing that limits you, not the obstacles you see.
Build Knowledge and Systems: Knowledge is critical, but only 10% of success. Application, via systems, it the other 90%.
Align and Thrive: Aligning with adversity and learning the "how-to's" for thriving is where real change comes from.
